After the church service we head down to downtown Evergreen. We start the adventure at Beau Jo’s and get Dude Ranch, Hawaiian BBQ, and Motherlode pizzas. They were good. The Dude Ranch was not as good as normal though. After we eat, we head for the lake walk to walk off our pizzas. At first we were quite chilly, but we warmed up in the sun and with our brisk pace. Thankfully the fresh snow from yesterday covered the ice on the path and we were not slipping. There was quite a few ice fishers on the lake. We saw the plows out on the ice clearing the skating rinks.
We headed back to the house to begin our gingerbread adventures. First we make up some cookies with some dough we chilled the other day. Then, we began our house making adventures. Mom intricately decorated hers while Kristin and Erika just shoved on as much candy as possible. The results are quite impressive. The evil, child-eating witches would be jealous.
